Alexia Santamaria has been a freelance food and travel writer for nearly two decades, writing primarily for Cuisine, Stuff, Kia Ora, NZ Herald, Broadsheet and Radio New Zealand. She also did the marketing and communications for Peter Gordon's Homeland for three years. In all this experience (she takes photos for her own stories) she has developed a knack for capturing the essence of a restaurant, its people and what it has to offer, using a smartphone rather than a camera. Now she's putting her skills to use at home in Auckland, providing a more affordable alternative for small businesses who need pictures for their social media. 

 

Ali Ward has spent years blending her passions for photography, social media, and storytelling to create compelling content for hospitality and food venues. With a background that includes event photography and curation in London, New Zealand, and Orange County, as well as time spent as a chef in RNZAF and RNZA, she brings a deep understanding of the industry to every project. She also worked as Social Media and Project Development Manager for 269 Parnell and has created tailored content for small businesses across Auckland. Having travelled extensively, Ali has developed a sharp eye for visual storytelling. Now, she’s channelling her skills into helping Auckland’s small businesses shine online.
